M. A. Bortner is a long-time member of QUAD Productions and a Professor Emerita at Arizona State University. Dr. Bortner is the founder of the College Program for Incarcerated Women at Federal Prison Camp Phoenix. Since 1997, under her amazing leadership, volunteer faculty members (including Griffith and Quan), university students, and community members have contributed to the life-changing educational achievements of over 1,000 incarcerated women.
